Pitchers DC and A League of Her Own aren’t just staples of LGBTQIA+ nightlife in Washington, DC—they’re institutions of queer resistance, joy, and community. These sister spaces have built a reputation not only for unforgettable nights, but for being unapologetically inclusive, proudly queer, and deeply committed to creating spaces where all identities are welcome and celebrated. Whether it’s drag shows, dance nights, or sports watch parties, they’ve become gathering grounds for LGBTQIA+ people to exist freely, loudly, and safely.

 

But their impact goes beyond the dance floor. Pitchers and ALOHO have repeatedly used their platforms to host fundraisers, uplift grassroots causes, and stand in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ rights movement. By partnering with VIVID, they’re showing that queer-owned businesses aren’t just part of the community—they help lead it.
